YOUNG & SICK — COMMUNITY UPDATE — 6 AUGUST 2021

It’s time for an update!

We have a crazy amount planned for the next six weeks, and felt it was time for a community update. I’ve never been more excited for what’s to come, as I’ve been making more art than ever. Let’s get into it…

The Highlights

• Nifty Gateway drop is postponed for the last time until mid September. Tommy confirming the final date now. Below as to why* (not to worry!)
• This Tuesday, 10th of August, I have something planned I can’t disclose... You will all certainly hear about it. Keep an eye out on emails from Nifty Gateway, check our Discord, Twitter… I’ve been working hard with Manifold on this one.
• Next Friday, 13 of August, I will reveal a piece I’ve been working very long hours on. The feedback I’ve gotten from those in various NFT communities has been overwhelming, and I couldn’t be more excited to share. It will be on my custom contract / distributed on OpenSea. Pre-sale, edition size, and rollout to follow over those next two weeks.
• Either Thursday, 2 of September or the following week (depending on final Nifty date), I will roll out The Barflies. A special 25 piece collection, all hand drawn 1/1s, for our most active community members. Barflies will be eligible for both digital and a lot of physical rewards. More below*
• Mid September Nifty Gateway drop will be my second collection. These pieces are truly elevated and come with a lot of physical rewards. More below:

Barflies

Barflies will be our members club. These will be limited and dropped in generations. We’re starting with 25 Barflies. Half of the original 25 will be held back as a pre-sale to our most active on Discord. Some info:

• Barfly owner will get the IP rights (inspired by BAYC)
• Barfly owner will get access to a file that includes: open files (for printing purposes), sized art for the computer, phone and smart watches, eventual files for various metaverse as they come.
• Access to limited edition drops in the future (not to worry, holders of all my art will get access to plenty of exclusive collector drops as well)
• Free four pack of wine right away (21+ / US only)!
• A point system, based on community involvement, that opens up free merch on a reoccurring basis, free tickets to festivals/shows I play), and any other wacky idea the Barflies come up with as a whole.

Nifty Gateway — Mid September Drop

Here is what I can share so far. The animations, illustration and music has taken a ton of time, and I couldn’t be more proud of the outcome. Some more info:

• The collection is expansive and truly elevated from our first drop.
• We are working on a metaverse meetup the day of the auction in a beautiful CryptoVoxels space. More details to come.
• The drop is going to have its own mechanics and rewards. Mechanics closer to the date, but a few of the physical reward sneak peaks below:

Final Thoughts

These next few weeks are going to be very busy. I’m proud of the work, and truly hope it makes everyone as happy as it makes me creating it. I work on every aspect of my art- illustration, music, and animation. It’s a lot!

Beyond everything in this update, I’m actively working on various metaverse builds, more collaborations, and endless calls with innovators, engineers, imagineers, and all of you. I’m set on creating one of the wackiest communities out there. I can’t thank you enough for the support. Love you all!!
